American Legion Breaks Ground on Phase I Club Building

The American Legion and project partners gathered to break ground on their Club Building, Phase I of a broader revitalization project, on Feb. 20, 2025.

A crowd of supporters braved freezing and windy weather to mark the occasion. The Club Building will serve as a space for Legion programming until they are able to restore their main building, which was severely damaged during Hurricane Sally. As project architects, we're honored to play a part in shepherding this Fairhope icon into its next chapter. Learn more about the project.
