Restore Mobile Breaks Ground on Oakdale Cottages

Restore Mobile is one step closer to bringing sustainable, affordable homes to Mobile’s Oakdale neighborhood.

Last week, we broke ground on three homes that Watershed designed for the nonprofit organization. These homes will help to revitalize this underserved community with new builds that are compatible with the historic fabric of the neighborhood. We’ve been proud to work with Restore Mobile to design homes that are resilient, healthy, and energy-efficient, complete with Energy Star, AirPLUS, and Fortified Gold certifications.

Because these homes will be Energy Star certified, prospective homebuyers will be eligible to apply for an energy efficient mortgage, which takes into account the buyer's reduced projected utility costs to offer more favorable lending terms. Learn more about the project.
